"BEST AT GECCO"   AWARD

As part of the double blind scientific peer review for submissions to GECCO, 34 papers were nominated by the track chairs upon recommendation of anonymous referees for consideration by the conference for a "Best of GECCO" prize. The following 10 papers were selected by secret ballot of GECCO attendees as "Best of GECCO" winners, one for each track at GECCO (with EH and ES/EP combined). The following papers are the "Best of GECCO" winners.

A-Life, Adaptive Behavior, Agents, and Ant Colony Optimization (AAAA)
"Emergence of Collective Behavior in Evolving Populations of Flying Agents," Lee Spector, Jon Klein, Christopher Perry, & Mark Feinstein
Artificial Immune Systems (AIS)
"Immune Inspired Somatic Contiguous Hypermutation for Function," Johnny Kelsey, Jonathan Timmis
