The Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront Hotel, located in downtown Portland, is near the Portland Riverplace Marina, restaurants, shopping & performing arts venues. Hotel room conference rate $159 includes complimentary in-room high-speed Internet access.

Student Housing

A block of 2-person dorm rooms has been reserved for GECCO attendees in the Broadway Building of Portland State University. Only individuals registered for the GECCO conference are eligible to reserve these rooms.

Accommodations:

Two-person room with single beds, private bathroom and kitchen. Green building with rain water harvesting, low energy usage, and recycled materials design. Access to the Ondine Building dining facilities and the Peter Stott Center (weight rooms, basketball and racquetball courts and swimming pool) included.

Rate and Availability

Rates available for the NIGHTS of July 6 through July 12.

Rate: $25 USD per person per room per night, shared room/double occupancy
A limited number of private rooms may be available. A private room is $50 USD per night.

Earliest checkin: 14:00 hrs, July 6
Latest checkout:  11:00 hrs, July 13

Reservation DEADLINE: May 31. We can not accept any reservations for the Broadway Building after May 31.

To make a reservation:

1. Email a reservation request to the Conference Administrator with the following information. If you do not include all of the information, your request will be delayed:

a) Your name
b) Your GECCO registration ID (from regonline.com)
c) The DATE of your CHECKIN (arrival)
d) The DATE of your CHECKOUT (that is, the date of the morning you will check out)
e) Your GENDER (required for roommate matching purposes)
f) The name of your requested ROOMMATE, if you have one. If you do not specify a roommate, one will be assigned to you.
g) If you would like a private room, please indicate so. Private rooms are limited.

2. Watch for a reply from the Conference Administrator about whether or not your request is able to be accepted. If the room is available, a RegOnline invoice will be created.

3. Pay the reservation invoice in full. Your reservation is not complete until you pay the invoice in full.

4. Once your reservation is paid in full, the Conference Administrator will send you the checkin procedures.

Payment Policy

Your reservation is not complete until you pay the invoice in full. Payment must be made in full by Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. No other forms of payment are available for Student Housing.
NO refunds or cancellations.
